My Journey
Hi, I’m Maryke. I’m a sleep practitioner who gently supports children under 12—and the parents who love them—through the challenges of sleep. As a mum to two neurodiverse boys, I truly understand how exhausting, overwhelming, and emotional sleep struggles can be. When nights are hard, everything feels harder, and you’re not alone in feeling that way.
I trained with the London School of Childcare Studies, completing a OCN Level 6 qualification—the highest level available to sleep practitioners. This training, alongside my lived experience as a parent, allows me to support families with both professional knowledge and genuine compassion.
I believe sleep support is never one size fits all. Every child is beautifully unique, and what works for one may not work for another. That’s why my approach is gentle, flexible, and tailored to your child’s individual needs and your family’s values. There is no pressure, no judgment, and no rigid methods—only understanding and support.
My goal is to help your child feel safe, settled, and secure at sleep time, while helping you feel confident, supported, and reassured every step of the way. Together, we can create calmer evenings, more restful nights, and brighter mornings for your whole family.
